MEDICAL STORE
|

The medical store is always ready with sufficient supply of not only prescribed
drugs and surgical supplies but also with the commonly used OTC (over-the-counter)
preparations.
For the patients of Balaji Hospital, the prescribed medicines are given at M. R.
P. rate without addition of taxes.It offers services to the hopitalized patients
as well as any external customer.

PANTRY
|
|
The pantry of Balaji Hospital caters delicious and nutritious food under professional
supervision of our dietician for seriously ill patients.

INTERCOMMUNICATION
|
|
The Intel® telephone operating intercom system handles the four basic
phone lines and controls the extensions provided to the rooms including the general
ward.
|
|
ENTERTAINMENT
|
|
The Waiting Hall has a television set.
In addition, we are planning to install one television set in each of the wards
for information and entertainment of the patients.
|
|
AMBULANCE
|
|
The well-equipped ambulance van is available for 24x7 and the driver is provided
a mobile phone for the swiftest possible execution in acute situations.
The ambulance can come right into the parking lot from where the patient can be
transferred by a fully conventional hospital bed and taken to the appropriate room
for immediate treatment.

COMPUTERIZATION
|
|
All the invoicing is computerized. Our hospital has received the Income Tax Department
exemption under section 17 of the Income Tax ACT 1961 DATED 21.12.2001. This allows
expenditure incurred over 10,000/- also be exempt.

We have transparent financial flow method and patient Data can be accessed by authorized
doctor.
|
The documentation including Medical reports and certificates are also computerized.

REFRESHMENTS
|
Right on the ground floor, services for tea, coffee and cold drinks are available.

ELEVATOR (LIFT)
|
The dimensions of the ISO 9002 certified TOSHIBA® elevator are adequate
to carry a patient in an ICU bed, which is used freely by senior citizens and physically
challenged individuals.

GENERATOR
|
The standby power generator unit is capable of compensating any power failure to
continue the basal and essential functions smoothly.
|
AC
|
Round the clock for comfort of the patients, general wards and the special wards
are kept cool with individual air conditioners.
|
LIBRARY
|
This proposed section will provide interesting books and informative and leisure
periodicals to the hospitalized patients.

GARDEN
|
This is one of the few hospitals in Baroda, which can boast of a beautiful garden.
|
TELEPHONES
|
Attendants or Relatives of patients can make calls through the receptionist.STD
calls can be requested through the operator. There will be a surcharge on all STD
calls.
|
TELEVISION
|
Cable Television is provided by BALAJI HOSPITAL in all rooms. On arrival, your attendant
will guide you on various channels available. You may ask the attendant to operate
the television in the manner you desire. To ensure good quality reception, please
refrain from tampering with the television, but for assistance call your attendant.
Please permit a response time of 10-15 min.

DIETARY SERVICES
|
Your diet is an important part of the treatment & is prescribed by your doctor.
Outside food & beverages are not allowed for patients.
|
We provide morning tea, breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon tea & snacks, dinner.
We have facility of choice of beverages – tea, coffee, milk, soup, chocolate
drink.
|
Full time experienced nutritionist is available to indoor & outdoor patient
for counseling. All in-house patients receive 24hr diet services. Patient meals
are planned by Physician & Dietician & are served hygienically to patients.
For seriously ill patients special feeds are prepared.
|
Fresh drinking water is provided twice daily, should you require to refill of drinking
water please inform the nurse.
|
HOUSEKEEPING
|
To maintain hygienic conditions, your room will be cleaned thrice daily. All linen
needs of patients are met by the hospital at no additionally charge. For any linen
needs, please contact your nurse at the nursing station.
|
TOILETS
|
All toilets in the hospital are sanitized regularly for your protection. Hot &
Cold water facilities are available.
Attendants are requested not to use hospital toilets for washing clothes, utensils
& bathing.
|
MAINTENANCE
|
Preventive maintenance of all equipments in the room is routinely and thoroughly
done before admission of a new patient.
|
The room is thoroughly washed and cleaned after the discharge of each patient.
|
If you need any assistance regarding the television, air-conditioning, power points,
plumbing call for the administrator. Please allow a response time.
|
GUEST ROOM
|
A special guest room is available for the patients in I.C.U
|
NEWSPAPERS
|
3 to 4 newspapers of English & Local language are available for patient
and their relative’s reading.

TAXI SERVICES
|
Cab services/ Private taxis may be ordered from our reception. The payment for these
are to be made to the taxi operator directly.

HOTELS
|
We can provide good, comfortable and economic stay at discounted rates for the patient’s
relatives.

FEEDBACK AND REDRESSAL
|
In our constant endeavor to improve services rendered, we will provide you with
a feedback form. Any service concerns or inconvenience that may be affecting your
stay, may please be brought to our attention so that remedial actions can be taken
immediately.
